Welcome to Jewel Quest! This is a single player 2D game made for Nuit Du Code. In this game, you have two minutes to collect as many diamonds as possible. Use the arrow keys to move around and the space bar to use his pickaxe to break the blocks. That said you can buy power-ups to get more diamonds.
PU 1 --> Buy 5 shovels for 3 diamonds. Press S to use it and it will dig 5 blocks straight forward.
PU 2 --> Get a better fuel for the lamp that allows you to see further for 30 sec.
PU 3 --> You decide to use less fuel to save money, so you can't see very far, that said you now have a 3x multiplier for any gems that you pick up for 30 sec.
PU4 --> A bomb that wipes the screen (Flash Warning)

Tips : use a combination of all the PU to get the highest score possible, here's an example : use PU1 to be able to explore fast while using PU2 to spot the gems from further away but don't pick them up, when you memorized the location of the diamonds use PU3 to triple all your income!
